Information We Collect

When you sign in with Discord, we receive account information needed to identify you, such as your Discord user ID, username or display name, and the Discord servers Discord reports you can manage.

When you configure Rust Boom Bot for a server, we may store Discord server IDs, server names, channel IDs, channel names, timezone settings, tracked player records, clan names, alert settings, and related configuration.

When you use billing features, Stripe handles payment details. Rust Boom Bot stores billing references needed to manage subscriptions, such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription IDs, Discord server IDs, payer Discord user IDs, subscription status, and related metadata.

Activity and Tracking Data

Rust Boom Bot processes Rust player activity and clan activity information to generate reports, alerts, quiet windows, busy windows, confidence labels, and activity charts. This data may come from your configuration, Discord interactions, and external Rust server or player data providers.

How We Use Information

We use information to authenticate users, authorize server management, run Discord bot features, maintain tracked player and clan configuration, generate reports and alerts, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve Rust Boom Bot.

Sharing

We share information with service providers when needed to operate Rust Boom Bot, including Discord for authentication and bot functionality, Stripe for subscription billing, hosting providers for infrastructure, and external data providers used by tracking features.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect Rust Boom Bot, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Cookies and Sessions

Rust Boom Bot uses cookies or similar session storage to keep users signed in, validate OAuth state, and protect account flows. Disabling cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout, or dashboard features from working correctly.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Server configuration and tracking data may remain until removed by an authorized server manager or deleted during normal maintenance.

Your Choices

You can stop using Rust Boom Bot, remove the bot from a Discord server, cancel subscriptions where available, or contact support to request help with access, deletion, or correction requests. Some information may need to be retained for billing, security, or legal reasons.

Children

Rust Boom Bot is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Rust Boom Bot, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as Rust Boom Bot changes. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
